Three Reasons to Read Ninja Camp w/Giveaway

A Review of Ninja Camp

Author: Sue Fliess

Illustrator: Jen Taylor

Publisher: Running Press Kids

Year: 2019

JACKET COPY: Who will protect the shadow blade?

Pack your bags and grab your gear: It's time to go to Ninja Camp. Join the campers as they practice their craft and prepare to battle their rivals, the Ninjas of the Dawn. They listen to the Ninja Master and learn the Ninja Creed, but to become Ninja Warriors they must first prove they are sly and swift, strong and speedy. It won't be easy. Will these new ninjas have what it takes to become Ninjas of the Night?

This story starts rolling with some rollicking rhyme and a challenge to protect the Shadow Blade -- but to do that, first these friends must learn to be proper ninjas.

Kids will learn some of the characteristics of a good ninja, as well as a good person, so this is a fun book which fosters strong values. Importantly, it's lively, fun and accessible to all children. Will they complete the challenge if they work together?

1. It's about ninjas -- need I say more? (LOL)

2. It's a quick and engaging read that kids will enjoy listening to and parents will enjoy reading.

3. Beautiful and accessible Art by Jen Taylor is the perfect compliment to this rhyming story.
