On Halloween, Mother Goose frantically searched the library for bedtime stories for the goslings.
She found classic tales like The Ugly Gosling, Moby Duck, and Goodnight, Goose, but no spooky stories.
She refused to leave empty-winged! She scoured shelves, and finally found frightfully perfect picks: Monster Goose, Duckula, and Drakenstein! She gleefully grabbed the ghostly GOODIES and rushed home.
But when she arrived there, she got GOOSEBUMPS. Her nest GLOWed-IN-THE-DARK, and the goslings were nowhere to be found!
Suddenly, seven ghoulish ghosts appeared. “Trick or Treat!” They honked.
Mother Goose giggled. “Treat! Just look what I’ve found at the library!” [100 Words]
